Micro Backyard Wedding with Marsh Views on Cape Cod

COVID altered the plans of just about every engaged couple getting married in 2020. All had to reduce their guest counts, for starters, and take into account social distancing measures. This reduction in guests required serious alterations to rental equipment, decor needs, catering, and entertainment.

The uncertainty created stress for both couples and vendors alike, but the plus side is that couples like Bethany and Jeff still had their dream backyard wedding, just with a more intimate arrangement. Working with the experienced wedding planners at Cape Cod Celebrations, they were able to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony followed by a tented reception under a sweet 24-foot Round Sperry Tent. A 10′ x 8′ Sperry Arch topped the bar station, and bistro strings created a festive cocktail area on the home’s marsh-facing terrace.
